SASSI STAFF

Research Fellow: Sajida Mansoor

Sajida Mansoor is working as a Research Fellow at the South Asian Strategic Stability Institute (SASSI). With a combination of M.Sc. degree in Defence and Strategic Studies and a Bachelors degree in Mass Communication, she joined SASSI in March 2009, marking the beginning of her professional career. Her primary interest at SASSI is focused on nuclear energy, multilateral fuel cycle and different approaches to it and nuclear energy renaissance/revival debate. She has been working on her two research papers, one in co-authorship with Former Ambassador Ali Sawar Naqvi which is titled, "Multilateral Nuclear Approaches (MNAs) and Pakistan’s Perspective", and other individual research paper is titled, "Viability of Nuclear Energy in Middle East and Pakistan’s Role in South-South Collaboration".

She has been actively participating and organizing all of the SASSI events like seminars, workshops and in-house talks. She was member of the research team of SASSI that wrote the technical briefs on the "Pakistan-France Strategic Partnership" and "Kerry-Lugar Act ( S-1707): Uncut".

She is proficient in graphic designing, webpage designing and other computer skills. She has designed from scratch this website for SASSI and has been maintaining it as well.
