Junior Associate Research Fellow: Itrat Zehra

Miss Itrat Zehra is working as Junior Associate Research Fellow in SASSI. She has done her Master's in Defense and Strategic Studies (DSS) from Qauid-e-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad. Her area of Specialization is Middle East. Other areas of interest include:

  • Nuclear Energy.


  • Iranian Nuclear Program.


  • Terrorism.


    • Her Seminar Paper was on "Political Instability in Pakistan and its Future Repercussions".

    In SASSI her main focus is on "Multilateral Approaches to Nuclear Fuel Cycle, Case for Pakistan" and "Evolution of Pakistan's Nuclear Program".

    She aims to deal with strategic issues including Nuclear Proliferation, peaceful uses of Nuclear Energy and Arms Control and Disarmament Affairs and various other issues ailing foreign and defense policy of Pakistan.
