Senior Research Fellow: Habib-ur-Rehman

Mr. Habib-Ur-Rehman has a long experience of TV Production, being the Current Affairs Producer in PTV since 1986. Mr. Habib-Ur-Rehman obtained his postgraduate degree of LLM from international University Islamabad. He passed his MA, LLB degrees from University of Peshawar and Khyber Law College Peshawar.

DOCUMENTARIES PRODUCED.

Mr. Habib-Ur-Rehman is basically a Documentary producer with a great deal of experience in the Production of TV Documentaries and Reports on social, economic, legal, scientific and religious subjects viz-av-iz live coverage.

REGIONAL AWARD: 2000.

Secured PTV Regional Award on Programmes and documentaries produced on the subject of 'Kashmir'.

NATIONAL AWARD.

In year 2006, Mr. Habib-Ur-Rehman was awarded the PTV National Award for his meritorious Programmes, Documentaries on Current Affairs, promoting Pakistan’s role for peace in the world community.

IRRA AWARD.

Mr. Habib-Ur-Rehman received in 2008 the IRRA Award on 8 May 2008 for his meritorious services rendered in Media for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of the earthquake hit areas of Kashmir and NWFP, creating worldwide awareness.

NOMINATION FOR WORLD TV-AWARD.

Mr. Habib-Ur-Rehman documentary on the subject of "Deeni Madaris" has been nominated for the competition of Best television Documentaries promoting religions understanding and tolerance for the 5th world TV award, 2008.
