WELCOME TO SASSI
The South Asian Strategic Stability Institute (SASSI) is an independent think tank dedicated to promoting peace and stability in South Asia.
The South Asian Strategic Stability Institute takes a multi-disciplinary approach focused on strategic stability, aimed at bringing together the various streams of thought from the social and natural sciences, the policy makers and academia.
LATEST ACHIEVEMENT
Now SASSI is the part of the advisory committee of Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) working together towards world free of chemical weapons. SASSI participated at the 14th Session of the Conference of the States Parties of the OPCW at Hague, 30 November - 4 December 2009.

LATEST EVENT
DOE delegation visited SASSI on Thursday, March 18, 2010.

An In-House Conference on "Egypt's Experience with the American Military and Economic Assistance Bills and an Analysis of the Kerry Lugar Bill" was held at the South Asian Strategic Stability Institute on Wednesday, October 28, 2009.
